As of November 1, 2005, Savoring Chicago has ceased publication
and is no longer accepting subscriptions.
For the past two and a half years,
I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring Chicago for great food
finds, meeting the hard-working people behind the businesses,
and most of all, sharing my discoveries with readers through
Savoring Chicago. Unfortunately, I lacked the resources
to grow the publication as I would have liked. I am, however,
planning to continue sharing my finds through this website,
pursue other avenues of publication, and perhaps resurrect
Savoring Chicago in the future.
I have greatly appreciated all the positive
input from readers and from volunteers and friends who provided
generous help and support, including Phyllis Kennedy, my
copyeditor; Bob Gailen, my graphic designer from Paragon
Design International; Peggy Folz who became my portrait
photographer and television assistant; and good friend Tim
Kilbourne who helped in countless ways behind the scenes.
